Taking tests and performing clinically are everyday occurrences for Associate Degree nursing students. While some students look forward to demonstrating their skills and abilities, others may become immobilized by their fears of failure. This presentation will assist the faculty member identify common signs and symptoms of performance and test anxiety in their students. A variety of practical evidence-based cognitive and behavioral techniques to help these students will be discussed. The speaker will also address when outside referral is recommended.
