Eric Nappier MSN, RN, CNE, CHSE is a dedicated nursing educator at Calhoun Community College, where they serve as a Nursing Instructor and Simulation Coordinator. With certifications as a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) and Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE), Eric brings a wealth of expertise and enthusiasm to the field of nursing education. They have a strong passion for using simulation-based education methods to enhance critical thinking and clinical judgment among nursing students. Eric is committed to advancing innovative teaching strategies that prepare future nurses for real-world challenges, and they are honored to present their insights at this national conference related to low-fidelity simulation methods to foster clinical judgement.
Eric began his nursing education at Calhoun Community College and continued to receive a BSN and MSN in Nursing Education/Population Health from Jacksonville State University. He is currently pursuring his DNP at the University of North Alabama with a project focused on boosting self-confidence in communication with undergraduate Gen Z nursing students with the use of standardized patient simulation. Eric's previous work history includes cardiac ICU stepdown and quality management.
Outside of his professional role, Eric enjoys traveling, diving into a good book, and spending time with his geriatric dachshund.
