Dr. Jennifer Fritzges has over 20 years’ experience in trauma/intensive care, pediatrics, lactation, and nursing education. She received her BSN from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing, MSN from Benedictine University, and DNP from Duquesne University. Jennifer is the Director of Allied Health and Nursing Program Director at Carroll Community College in Westminster, MD. In the fifteen years she has been teaching, there has been a shift in the focus of clinical education from more skill based, to leading students to gain the ability of critical thinking at point-of-care. Jennifer has been faculty mentor for for many years and also works as a nurse faculty consultant. Jennifer is a member of the Maryland Nurse Residency Consortium Statewide Partnership Taskforce and on the Maryland Action Coalition.
