Marta Sanderson is a tenured Assistant Professor of Nursing at Georgia Highlands College, serving as the lead instructor for several courses in the Associate of Science in Nursing program and teaching in the RN to BSN program. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing Educator with Distinction from Chamberlain University and has extensive experience in both clinical practice and nursing education. She has received the 2023 GHC Faculty Teaching Excellence Award, and was a contender for the USGA Regents’ Felton Jenkins, Jr. Hall of Fame Faculty Award, and Daisy Award recipient. Marta has expertise in concept-based curriculum, educational learning theory, and evidence-based competency development.
