Lynette How is a faculty member and Program Director at a rural community college in northern Minnesota, where she is part of a grant with two other nursing schools to introduce the innovative pre-licensure apprenticeship model in Minnesota. With over a decade of experience in nursing education, she previously served as an RN Chronic Care Coordinator and held various acute care and administrative positions. Lynette's educational credentials include a post-graduate certificate in Nursing Administration and Organizational Systems Leadership from Minnesota State University Moorhead, a Master of Science in Nursing Education from Walden University, a Bachelor of Arts in Nursing from the College of St. Scholastica, and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Hibbing Community College. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Bemidji State University and is expected to complete her EdD from MSUM in May 2026. Appointed by Governor Walz to the Minnesota Board of Nursing in 2022, her term will conclude in 2026. Lynette's professional focus lies in providing exceptional care for students and fostering their growth in the nursing field.
