This session will delve into Ivy Tech Community College's innovative response to the pressing demand for nurses by expanding its statewide associate degree nursing program. Expansion was made possible through a collaborative effort to support Indiana House Enrolled Act 1003-2022 (HEA 1003), Nursing Indiana Back to Health, which advocated for flexibility in nursing program administration, leading to expansion opportunities. Strategies utilized and lessons learned will be explored with the audience.
