Dr. Justin Fontenot (he/him/his) is an Associate Professor of Nursing at the School of Medicine at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. A proud ADN-prepared nurse, Dr. Fontenot is a Fellow at the Academy of Associate Degree Nursing. He is a current DNP to PhD student at Texas Woman's University. He is developing a new theory on adaptive confidence in nursing practice. He is a board-certified Nurse Executive Advanced and OADN's official journal, Teaching and Learning in Nursing (TELN) Editor in Chief. Dr. Fontenot advocates for the equal treatment of marginalized backgrounds and is a proud LGBTQIA+ person.
