Assistant Director, Nurse Equity Program

Robin Manuel is the Assistant Director, Nurse Equity Program, for the Nursing Program at Dallas College. Robin received a Bachelor of Administration in Accounting from Our Lady of the Lake University, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University, and a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Texas A&M International University. She has over 20 years of experience in the accounting field and 7 years of experience in nursing. Prior to her current position she has worked as a med/surg floor nurse/charge nurse, secondary school nurse, home health nurse, college clinic nurse, and adjunct faculty (clinical instructor). In her current position working on a HRSA Grant, Robin focuses on helping students in the nursing program by promoting diversity. She assists nursing students from underrepresented backgrounds to achieve their educational goals through financial and educational support.
