Sarah Stokke serves as an Integration Nurse Educator with Wolters Kluwer, working with nursing faculty and leaders across the nation to integrate the science of learning best practices within their classrooms, labs, simulations, clinicals, and programs. She leads Live Educational Sessions each month to educate faculty on topics related to teaching strategies, remediation, test item writing, formative and summative assessments, clinical judgment, deep learning, remediation, and more. She has presented at local, state, and national educational conferences, and has been published in the NurseThink® Consensus Reports and the National Center for Case Study Teaching in Science. She has over 18 years of nursing experience, including oncology, transplant, endocrinology, behavioral health, nephrology, home health, community health, intensive care, and nursing education. She has been an active member of multiple professional committees, including OADN, Sigma Theta Tau, curriculum, and testing. She is passionate about transforming the nursing profession, bridging the education to practice gap, and improving patient outcomes by supporting faculty in implementing evidence-based teaching and learning strategies that build strong clinical judgment skills and evidence-based nursing care in our future nurses.
